On The Pitch - April 2010
Everton were unbeaten in the month of April, recording two wins and two draws.
The results kept the Toffees on course for an unlikely gatecrashing of the European places before a 0-0 draw at Stoke in early May eventually ended that dream.
Everton lead against West Ham and Aston Villa before late goals meant they had to settle for a point on both occasions.
But the boot was on the other foot in the subsequent two games, as Tim Cahill popped up at Blackburn to secure a 3-2 win - then Mikel Arteta repeated the feat late on at home to Fulham to record a 2-1 win.
