View articlesAs you will probably know the Everton squad is heading to Australia this week to kick off a three match tour.
As ever, evertonfc.com and evertontv will be with David Moyes and his players as they visit Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
We actually fly out ahead of the squad, meaning we'll arrive Down Under in time to get our bearings and be ready to provide plenty of news and updates from the tour.
The preparations have been going on behind the scenes for weeks and we've been trying to come up with new ideas to make our coverage of the tour as interesting as possible.
Key to this is the pre-season console, which will be available all summer. We want it to serve as the one-stop shop for all things Australian.
It will bring together our Facebook Fan Page feed, the latest from the Blueroom and also from Twitter.
The popular @YourEverton feed will be complemented by tweets from our media team, @efc_mattgamble (Website Editor) and @efc_markrowan (Head of Media and Communications). We will be in close contact with the players throughout the tour and relaying our experiences to you.
There will be blogs from the first team and a daily video round-up of what's been going on.
We'll also be holding webchats, using a new platform which allows fans to log in using their YourEverton details or, Facebook or Twitter credentials.
You may also have heard that evertontv will be streaming all of our three games against Sydney FC, Melbourne Heart and Brisbane Roar LIVE. The time difference means that you'll be able to tune in at 10.30am UK time (with two games on Saturdays) and follow the Blues.
Commentator Darren Griffiths will be on the mic and he's hoping to recruit some expert co-commentators to provide even more analysis into how Everton are doing.
The very best photography will also be available on the new pre-season console. A dedicated photographer will be with us every step of the way and we'll be showcasing his work in a series of galleries as well as our new Image of the Day feature.
Throughout our stay in Australia we will also be bringing you regular Ozcasts - the antipodean version of our popular podcast service!
We hope you choose to stick closely to evertonfc.com for all the news and evertontv for interviews and features this summer.
