View articlesNews of Everton's presence in Seattle has clearly spread, with the number of media and spectators signifcantly increasing at training on Wednesday.
The Blues' upcoming clash against River Plate in Canada had brought media men from across the border to size up what they will be viewing this weekend, while the local US journalists and cameramen were also in attendance.
The fact that our session overlapped one held by the Seattle Sounders MLS side at the same location only added to the numbers.
Amongst the Sounders players was Freddie Ljungberg, the Swede will face Everton for the MLS All-Stars next week and he was more than happy to step out of his warm-up to chat with our own Yakubu about the Nigerian's injury comeback.
Typically though, players and manager took everything their stride, with David Moyes, Tim Cahill, Tim Howard and Phil Neville all taking time to chat.
Helpfully for evertonTV, Cahill also found time to throw his sweaty shirt at our reporter as we spoke to Steven Pienaar!
When you watch the interview on evertonTV - look out for Tim's intervention!
Another welcome guest at training was Blues legend Jimmy Gabriel and he was only too happy to speak at length with our own Darren Griffiths.
After recording this and several other interviews, we headed back to the hotel to work on editing and processing them for evertonTV.
Look out for all our content in the coming days - and don't miss the LIVE VIDEO of the River Plate game.
