View articlesevertonfc.com are pleased to introduce our 10 new Fan Bloggers for the 2010/11 campaign.
Earlier this summer we placed an advertisement on Facebook and Twitter asking Evertonians to apply to share their thoughts on the Blues throughout the season by submitting regular blogs to the website.
We received some fantastic entries from all around the world from passionate fans wanting to scribe and present their views on evertonfc.com's global audience.
Tasked with answering the simple question: "I would make an excellent evertonfc.com fan blogger because...", we received a great range of responses from fans based a few minutes from Goodison Park, stretching as far across the globe as the USA, Dubai and Australia.
So here are our evertonfc.com fan bloggers!
Ruaraidh Callinan, Bootle
Hi I'm Ruaraidh, I follow Everton home and away with the Northants Supporters Club and this is my insight into life on the road with the Blues!
Alexander James, New South Wales, Australia
Hi I'm Alex. I come from the Highlands near Sydney in Australia, and regard myself as one of the Blues' biggest international fans. This is my insight on being one of the bleary-eyed few who rise at 3 in the morning to see the greatest club in the world play - Everton FC!
Mad Blue, London
Monday - Friday spent in a stressful City of London job. Sat and Sunday spent stressing over Everton. A Toffee trying to balance her career with her love of Everton and Goodison Park.
Ryan McNeill, Dublin
I'm Ryan, a Musican based and working in Dublin, Ireland. A Blue through and through, I'll be making sure I'm heard from across the Irish Sea. I hope you enjoy my approach to what's happening in and around Goodison Park!
Kieran Miller, London
I have been a Blue since the age of five, 20 years of blue blood and counting. The decision was based on Tony Cottee and annoying my older brother who is a Liverpool fan. I was born in Chester and spent my days up to 18 all over Cheshire with the family home now based in Northwich, it has been for the last 10 years. Following graduation I moved to London and now work as a Business and IT consultant.
Ben Sanchez, Pennsylvania, USA
My body may be across the Atlantic, but my heart has taken up residence at Goodison Park.
Ian Sullivan, Oxford
I was born a Blue so I’ve been one now for over 29 years. I work as a digital campaigner for Oxfam. I’m a bit of a long distance fan now, getting up to the game whenever I can, but watching all over the world.
Dave Thompson, Kent
I have followed the Blues for 40 years through good times and bad. I now live in Canterbury, Kent, and travel up and down the country in all weathers to take our season ticket seats in the Main Stand.
Michael Turner, Sydney, Australia
Football, games, school, Everton Football Club. This is my life, and 10533 miles away in Sydney, this is what Everton means to me.
Amit Vyas, Dubai
A Dubai-based Blue and founder member of the Middle East Toffees – the official supporters club for the UAE.
