Youngster John Lundstram
was thrust immediately into Blackpool's starting line-up as the new Championship campaign kicked off on Saturday.
The midfielder joined the Seasiders on a season-long loan last Wednesday and played the full 90 minutes against Nottingham Forest.
Despite finding themselves 2-0 down after half an hour, Blackpool improved as the game wore on. The score would remain the same but Lundstram's tackling and passing earned plenty of plaudits.
Another young Blue heading out on loan last week was Matthew Kennedy
– the winger departing Finch Farm for Easter Road on Friday.
The 19-year-old linked up with former Everton Under-21s boss Alan Stubbs for his first game in charge, at home to Livingston.
Hibs ran out 2-1 winners - with goalkeeper Mark Oxley scoring a freak second with a long-range punt - and Kennedy emerged from the bench for the final 10 minutes.
Over in Norway, Francisco Junior
registered his 12th appearance for Stromsgodet IF.
The Portuguese midfielder has aided his side's ascension to third in the table but Saturday's 1-0 defeat at second-place Odd Grenland has left them trailing leaders Molde by 10 points.
Junior played 64 minutes, picking up a yellow card, before being withdrawn and witnessing the hosts net their winner 11 minutes from time.
