View articlesAfter enjoying an evening of baseball earlier in the week, some Everton players were treated to IndyCar action on Sunday.
IndyCar is a motor racing series featuring cars similar to Formula 1 which takes place in North America.
The most recent race was in Edmonton and Blues players were invited to watch the action unfold.
The noise of the engines and speed of the cars was phenomenal, and it certanly left an impression on those who took in the event.
Tim Cahill was delighted that fellow Australian Will Power took the chequered flag first!
It may well have provided a welcome distraction from football, the narrow defeat to River Plate having been played out the evening before.
But the visit to Canada is a fleeting one, with a very early flight to Salt Lake City on the schedule for Monday morning.
There, the razzamatazz of the MLS All-Star game will be in full swing.
None of the players have been involved in an encounter quite like the one planned for Wednesday night, and no-one puts on a sporting show like the Americans.
It will be worth keeping an eye out for!
