Tyias Browning has signed a new three-year deal at Everton Football Club.

The talented defender is one of the latest players to emerge from the Club's Academy to the brink of first-team action and his latest contract will extend his stay at Goodison Park until the end of the 2016/17 season.

Browning has been at Everton since the age of 10, winning the Under-18 league title in May 2011 and skippering the Club's Under-21 side last term.

Able to play at centre-half or right-back, the athletic youngster has featured for the first team in pre-season after making the bench towards the close of 2013/14.

And after committing his future to the Blues for another three seasons, 20-year-old Browning is eager to earn more senior outings.

"I'm absolutely delighted to sign," he told evertonfc.com. "I've been here since I was a kid and this new deal shows the faith that the manager and staff have in me.

"I've loved being around the first team. I've learnt so much and I'm ready to kick on when called upon."
