Everton's under 18 side have recorded a creditable 2-1 win over Celtic.
The youngsters fell behind to the Scottish outfit after the quarter hour, but battled back with goals from Hope Akpan and Lewis Codling.
Akpan nodded in the equaliser from a corner after 25 minutes.
Kieran Agard could have put the Toffees ahead before the break but his one-on-one effort was saved by the visiting keeper.
The game was played in very blustery conditions throughout, but it was Everton who managed to press home the advantage.
Codling neatly dinked the ball over the keeper after an unlikely collision involving the referee and a Celtic player.
The Scots pressed for an equaliser, but Everton's young side held on.
