Everton will be missing at least three players for the game at Arsenal.
Victor Anichebe, Segundo Castillo and Joseph Yobo are all unavailable for the clash with the Gunners.
Castillo picked up a hamstring injury whilst on international duty with Ecuador, and Anichebe suffered a similar problem after playing for the reserves in midweel. Yobo has a virus.
Phil Jagielka is also suffering with a similar virus but has not yet been ruled out.
And midfielder Tim Cahill is still suspended from domestic action.
But captain Phil Neville is back in the fray after missing the game against Newcastle with a hamstring problem.
Lars Jacobsen is a long-term injury absentee with his shoulder problem.
But James Vaughan looked sharp playing for the reserves this week, as he scored two goals in the win over Liverpool.
Everton [from]: Howard, Nash, Turner, Hibbert, Neville, Baines, Lescott, Jagielka, Valente, Osman, Arteta, Pienaar, Fellaini, Yakubu, Vaughan, Saha, Rodwell, Baxter.
