TIM'S JOY
Tim Cahill came to the rescue for Australia in the Asian Cup this afternoon.
The midfielder grabbed a 90th minute equaliser for the Socceroos against Oman in Bangkok.
Cahill began the match on the bench following his recovery from a broken metatarsal sustained in March, replaced Vince Grellan in the 63rd minute.
Australia went a goal down in the 32nd minute when Badar Mubarak put the Gulf side ahead and it was looking like there was a shock on the cards until Cahill spoiled proceedings in injury time.
The Socceroos' next match in the 16 nation tournament is on July 13 when they take on Iraq.
