Everton’s Superlambanana has arrived at Goodison!
The Super St Domingo Lamb Banana is one of 119 replica Superlambananas that are on show across Liverpool.
On Sunday morning, the Blues’ very own Superlambanana was erected in front of the Dixie Dean statue outside Goodison Park.
Dressed in the new 2008/09 home replica strip, the Super St Domingo Lamb Banana will be on view for 10 weeks to celebrate the city’s Capital of Culture year.
The unusual shaped-figurine created by Japanese artist Taro Chiezo, 10 years ago, is one of Liverpool’s iconic symbols.

The Super St Domingo Lamb Banana is part of Go Lambananas 08 and trail maps will be available from the Everton Megastore this week.
Following the event, the Superlambanana will be sold at auction for the Lord Mayor's Appeal.

To be honest it does look a bit like Cars. I reckon it could be top scorer.
Agree with Peter?
