Simonsen Could Figure

Simonsen Could Figure

Former Everton man Steve Simonsen could face the Toffees on Sunday.

Simonsen could be called upon to deputise for the injured Thomas Sorensen.

The former Tranmere man was at Everton for six years before heading to the Potteries.

Sorensen has a back problem, while Stoke will also be without Amdy Faye, who is suspended.

Meanwhile, Potters boss Tony Pulis has admitted to being a big admirer of opposite number David Moyes.

"David has done a fantastic job at Everton, last year they finished fifth and now he is looking at it to see if he can take them into the top four again," he said.

"But to break into the top four you need more resources, and that's not having a go at Bill Kenwright or anyone at Everton Football Club.

"David Moyes is being really ambitious from a personal point of view to take them on to that next step again, and there is nothing wrong with that at all."

Sarah HowardSimonson was a good goalkeeper I dont know why we got rid of him. WE WILL BREAK THE TOP 4 TONY PULIS
