Senderos Deal Completed
The defender will wear the number 23 now his Everton loan is official.
Philippe Senderos
The deal to bring Philippe Senderos to Everton on loan until the end of the season has now been completed.
evertonfc.com confirmed on Saturday that an agreement had been made in principle to bring the Arsenal defender to Goodison.
The Swiss international will wear the number 23 shirt during his time with the Toffees.
Now the paperwork has been finalised the 24-year-old says he's looking forward to making his mark with the Blues.
"I am delighted to be an Everton player for the remainder of the season," Senderos told evertonTV. "I can't wait to get stuck in and play for Everton.
"Hopefully I can get some first team football in during my time here. I am here with high hopes and hopefully I can fulfil them."
Born in Geneva, Senderos came through the ranks at his local club, Servette, before signing for The Gunners in December 2002.
He was loaned to Italian giants AC Milan for the 2008-09 season, making 15 appearances for them in Serie A.
"I have spoken to David Moyes and he hopes to give me opportunities here. Hopefully I can grab that opportunity and stay in the team.
"Everton's form over the last few weeks has been better and they are getting stronger."

chris skillicornCouldn't agree more Ash he is still young, he is 24 though, but still young enough to benefit from Moyesee's ability to get the best out of youngsters.

chris skillicornI will just reflect on what nearly everybody has said and no doubt what every Evertonian will feel. If this lad tries his guts out every game then he will be loved. Moyes has created a special club here, I have never seen such solidarity between players, they fight for each other, if Phillipe wants to make his mark he will have to work hard and prove to every Evertonian that he wants to play for us, if he does I have no doubt that the Goodison Faithful will treat him like a Martyr. brennan finneganGood luck Phil if you take your chance you will be playing behind the most skillful team in the Prem. Just get it to Arts Fell or Nuts and they'l create chances, which hopefully Don Tim or Saha can score from, starting Wednesday

Mark ReidPhil what we need is someone to be consistent. To shout from the back and to think about where you're putting the ball, and play confidently. I hope you show all the doubters wrong and show us what an asset you can be on set pieces. up the blues.

John HauSenderos please to see you are finally here, wish you came during the summer and not in January, you would have gotten alot of first team action already, with us having so much injuries problem in the first half of the season. Any way competition is what we needed, as Distin need a wake-up call, as his Birmingham performance was not good, compare to the City game. If you have been keeping yourself nice and fit at Arsenal, then I would like to see you and Heiitinga in the middle for us against Sunderland.
