RAMSEY BID ACCEPTED

Everton have agreed a fee with Cardiff for Aaron Ramsey.

The Bluebirds have accepted a bid of £5m from Everton for the 17-year-old midfielder.

Everton have now been given permission to talk to the player about a move to Goodison Park.

Manchester United have also had a bid accepted, whilst Arsenal are reported to have expressed an interest in the player.

Ramsey made 22 senior appearances for David Jones' Cardiff side last season, netting two goals.

He was used as a substitute in the FA Cup final defeat to Portsmouth and was selected by John Toshack for Wales' squad for the recent international friendlies against Holland and Iceland.

J.d. Abramim confused he will play games at efc but he wont play games at man utd, liverpool or asenal

Sunday 8th June 13:29 Report Comment

aaron kellyi think ramsey would be unbelivable..moyes certainly knows wat hes doin gettin into that deal..but i think stephen hunt would be brilliant also...and reading were relagated so he would jump at the oppertunity to play in the premiership again.

James WilkinsonAlso we should try to raid FC Porto, we should try and get players such as Lucho Gonzalez and the brazilian striker lopez, i don't think we have enough to money for quaresma but we should definetly consider the other two

Friday 6th June 14:17 Report Comment

James WilkinsonHe would be a good signing for the future but we need to start spending on quality players now, look at tottenham they have signed dos santos and modric and we need to start spending big money to compete, what happened to the Joaquin rumour, he would be a good signing, there quality young players on the market now and we need to start buying them. We need another world class player one such as david villa or maybe a little less expensive

Friday 6th June 14:08 Report Comment

Chris MurtaghI haven't seen Ramsey much, but Moyes is probably the best manager at transfer signings; look at Cahill, Yobo, Lescott, all quality signings. One player I do believe will benefit this club, is a left winger/striker in Szabolcs Huszti. He turned down a contract extension at Hannover, and his contract is up in the summer. We could get him for around 4 million, he'd be a real star for us, and would add competition on the wing and up front.

Friday 6th June 05:00 Report Comment

daniel gravesi think ramsey would be a great signing but i reckon we should go for bullard and maybe bradley as well.

Thursday 5th June 20:49 Report Comment

stephen kingThe boy has class but! we need 2 midfield players one to compensate the loss of Cars and one to give us what Fernandes promised in the first spell. I think Bullard is a better bet and Crouch comming in would allow Johnson and co to look for a wide berth in 5 man midfields

Thursday 5th June 15:01 Report Comment

jay CavanaghAll you have to do is look at the signings Big Dave has madfe from lower divisons in the past few years I.E Timmy And Joey look how they turned out this kid has a big future infront ov him and we are the only team he is guaranteed first team action. So come on Aaron mate yall love it here mate. C.O.Y.B :D

Kieran MorrisCome on Ramsey come to Goodison youll be a legend

Thursday 5th June 11:04 Report Comment

Andrew BallingallIm not sure about this lad but I have every confidence that if Moyes thinks hes worth it then hes worth it,I havent seen a proper signing that Moyes has made thats turned against us

Thursday 5th June 10:52 Report Comment

Josh RumleyI would rather have Michael Bradley as our long term Central Midfielder, he is only 20 and is getting better all the time. He would be a better buy and I think Ramsey will go to Man U anyways.

Thursday 5th June 05:02 Report Comment

This boys transfer value would double within a season if he signed for us! Im a Cardiff boy and alot of my mates are season ticket holders with Cardiff and they cant say enough good things about him! If he signs for utd he probably wont get a look in for a couple of years if he signs for us he could be in the first team sooner rather than later! Lets hope he signs for us!

Wednesday 4th June 22:48 Report Comment

John CoadyNot bad but nothing really special. 5 million is a big chunk of our transfer kitty on a young lad but i can see Moyes is thinking long term. Michael Bradley is a snip at 4million we could do with him. Unfortunately i think we'v well missed the boat with Arshavin.

Wednesday 4th June 21:15 Report Comment

James BowmanToo little, too late for this one I think!! Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all interested when it comes Aaron Ramsey. I would b a major shock iv he chooses us over all of these. But i do admirer the club for going after this type of player as we need to start competing with so called 'big four'.

Wednesday 4th June 21:07 Report Comment

allan hironsthe mancs were also after Jon Oster (who) when we got him !5 mil for potential is a gamble

Wednesday 4th June 21:01 Report Comment

Simon FloydI get to watch City quite a bit and this boy is gonna be a class player. The problem with us signing him is that he will be in our first team squad whereas with United and Arsenal they have both offered to loan him back to City for next season as part of the deal.

Wednesday 4th June 20:24 Report Comment

DAN HILLHOW MUCH DO WE HAVE TO SPEND? CAHILL AND ARTETA TOGETHER ONLY COST ABOUT THAT MUCH!

Wednesday 4th June 19:14 Report Comment

Lee Thomasshould be a good signing. he should turn down a move to united and arsenal as he should no he wouldnt play. with the BLUES he will and will become a better player over time and play for Wales every game because of moyesie

Wednesday 4th June 19:08 Report Comment

richie tiptoni think e would a very good signing but not a first team player for a side like everton at the moment e only got 22 for cardiiff so if we get him and holds down a regular starting place i would be a little disapointed

Wednesday 4th June 18:53 Report Comment

PAUL FLYNNHe's deffinately a player that would have a good chance of being a first team player with us next seasson...looks like a really exciting prospect....could turn out to be the next trevor steven...aaron.........welcome to goodison!!! (well hopefully)

Wednesday 4th June 18:26 Report Comment

Nathan Cowleyhowever, i trust in david moyes' decisions, and although i think he has spent a little too much, he should prove to be a decent player when he has a bit more experience under his belt

Wednesday 4th June 18:19 Report Comment

Nathan Cowleyi agree with stu, a little too much money, we shud be aiming for a player with skill, experience quality and crossing ability like joaquin, and a defensive midfielder to take over from carsley

Wednesday 4th June 18:18 Report Comment

jamie mossopHe will be a class signing, forget the price when quality is involved lets just hope we dont miss out on moyes' no1 targets?

Wednesday 4th June 17:11 Report Comment

Neal McAndrewGood Player needs abit more experiance but overall good signing and should be a regular starter.

Wednesday 4th June 16:35 Report Comment

Stuart GunterIs everyone missing the fact he is 5million too much in my opinion. I've seen him play hes good but way too much for a 17year old! (especially with our transfer kitty)

Wednesday 4th June 16:22 Report Comment

Paul PickavanceI hope Moyes can talk him round, but it'll be a big job - I've read he was a boyhood Man U fan and that Giggs is his hero... Depends if he wants to risk waiting years for a chance for first team football at Man U, or first team action with us next season.

Wednesday 4th June 16:20 Report Comment

Steve RossThe difference between us and the top teams is our ability to create goals using our full backs. We need to make sure we have quality attacking full backs to create for and support our midfielders and forwards when were attacking like Evra does for United.

Wednesday 4th June 16:14 Report Comment

john mchaleHe must be very good if the so called top 4 is after him we will get him though dont worry

john mchaleHe must be a good player if the so called top four have put a bid in for him we will get him dont worry

Wednesday 4th June 15:32 Report Comment

Steven MasonQuietly, Moyes is getting together some very good young lads who in a couple of years will form the nucleus of a very good side.

Wednesday 4th June 15:21 Report Comment

Paul Ellamgood to see us battling it out with the so-called big teams for talent but we need recognised players too, not just potential. lets get him but id rather more effort be put into snapping up arshavin before he has a great euro 2008 and becomes hot property with a hot pricetag!!

Wednesday 4th June 14:59 Report Comment

Steve RossI reckon that the blues can offer more first team football than the reds so that might swing the deal.

Wednesday 4th June 14:46 Report Comment

adam gainforde's a class player if he signed for us wat a signin e would b opefully de mancs decide 2 leave im alone for us

Wednesday 4th June 14:42 Report Comment

Micky YusufI didnt quite notice him during the second half of the FA cup final. I hope he turns out well for us. I know our amiable manager, David moyes can do wonders with any potentially good player.

Wednesday 4th June 14:39 Report Comment

Martin OverendWe must still go for good young British players to expand the squad, and as Reidy says if Manc and Arsel are in for him, he must be a good un.

Wednesday 4th June 14:30 Report Comment

steve mclaughlini just hope he grew up a blue

Wednesday 4th June 14:07 Report Comment

Mark ReidYou know if the Mancs are in he's not shaby. Lets just try and pull out all the stops to fight off Fergie's approach ey? COYB In Moyes we trust!

Wednesday 4th June 13:38 Report Comment

Stephen Linden-wyattSounds like a good deal but lets not forget we need experience too in midfield

Wednesday 4th June 13:28 Report Comment

John RileyNever seen him play but i'm sure davie moyes can make into a star, just look at cahill and lescott

Wednesday 4th June 13:10 Report Comment
