Despite widespread media attention and appeals by celebrities and sports stars, including Everton's Phil Neville, Manuel Fernandes and Nuno Valente, Madeleine's whereabouts are still not known.

Everton's players decided to wear the t-shirts appealing for help in the search for Madeleine in order to maintain public awareness of the situation.

A photo of Madeleine in an Everton shirt was published on the website last week and the plight of the McCann family has captured the attention of Evertonians everywhere.

Fans at Stamford Bridge on Sunday displayed a banner pleading for Madeleine's safe return.

The international number for Crimestoppers is +44 1883 731 336. People with information about Madeleine can call anonymously.
