Leon Osman says Everton are determined not to drop points over the coming festive fixtures after the disappointment of the draw with Birmingham.
Despite dominating Sunday's game and creating a host of chances, The Blues had to settle for a point.
But that is something that Ossie says will spur them on over the Christmas period.
"There was a feeling disappointment in the changing room," the midfielder told evertonTV after the game. "We started the game really well and we dominated it.
"We created a number of chances but only managed to take one. When you do that the opposition has always got a chance to get back into it and that's what happened."
While the atmosphere in the Goodison dressing room was one of frustration, Ossie insisted that the team must keep their focus.
"The positives are it is still a point and it is another game unbeaten,” he added.
"But we know we need to try and win these games. We will certainly go into the next one at Sunderland looking for the win."
The players will head to Sunderland on Christmas Day ready for the Boxing Day clash at the Stadium of Light.
Osman revealed the festive celebrations would be on hold for the Blues until after the final whistle.
"We have to go away Christmas night to prepare for the game but that is part of football. We all accept that,” he continued.
"We will certainly go up there and give it our all to come away with three points on Boxing Day."

Hau is making a real Evertonian's best wish ! But how many points we collected from the last 6 games? Some moments ago we put the blame on our injury list. When the injury list got longer, we put the blame on bad luck. And.... it seems that some of our injured key players will not be coming back soon.... This is time that we need to see something done. Come on !

Honestly Six points off Sunderland & Burnley are a absolute must, I am not saying if we didn't get maximum points off them we would be in a relegation battle, but it would almost certain rule out a possibilities of a Top Half finish or more. As we are virtually playing most of the top half opponent over January & February which include Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, Man City. Even we got six points off them we still have to be looking to beat some of the team from a above and not just aiming for a draw, it would be an understatement if I didn't say "Our Season are going to be decided over the next Ten Weeks!" Why is that? Or final ten games are easy if you compare them with our next ten games, we might even be capable of winning all of them? So, if we can reach a points total of 40+ by the end of ten weeks, we could easily finish in the Top half and still stand a chance of finishing in a Top 6 position.
