Kevin SmythI'm gutted for Pistone, I thought he was a quality defender and he was one of the reasons we played so well during the 04/05 season and came 4th......good luck to both of them though, never heard either of them complain when they were left out. Great to see Stubbs has got an extension, he's really earned it.

Karl MastersGood luck to them both. I don't really think Richard Wright had a bad first season, but he fell out of the loft and lost his place. He's certainly been unlucky. Sandro's been unlucky with a lot of injuries too. Will always remember his part in the 4th place season. Hope they both get a chance to say goodbye - first programme of next season perhaps?

John HamerI think it's a shame for Richard Wright. He had the potential to be one of the best keepers in the world when he was younger but he's always played second fiddle to more established keepers meaning he hasn't been able to establish himself as the top keeper he is. If he does leave, I hope he gets regular 1st team action.

But time and the club move on and think the manager is 100 percent right in letting both go and 100 percent right to offer evergreen Stubbs and Carsley (Mr rock solid) new deals. Michael MageeI too doubt if Wright would come back but good luck to him because he has not moaned once about not being in the team.Unfortunately Pistone needs to also move on,he is just too injury prone and has missed too much football over the last 2 years at his age.He was only offered a deal at the last minute because we were so short of left backs

Lee SummersWrighty has been unlucky in the fact we have had 2 top draw keepers over last 2 seasons or so and 2 up and coming young keepers also, best of luck too him in either case. Sandro has been a good servant to the club but injuries have paid the price, hes a fantastic left back im sure he will find another club, would like to thank them both for there service to the club,
