Everton defender Lucas Neill has urged his team-mates not to dwell on Saturday's 3-0 reverse to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
And the Australian international knows that the best way of banishing the memory of defeat is to win the very next game; and that game comes hot on the heels of Saturday's fixture.
Speaking exclusively to evertonTV, Neill said: "We've got to bounce back straight away and that's what it's all about now.
"So now we move on and Hull is definitely a game that we need to win and to push ourselves up the table."
The 31-year-old was starting his third game since joining the Blues in September and is enjoying the rivalry amongst his team-mates as he bids to keep his place.
Three other players – Tony Hibbert, John Heitinga and Dan Gosling – have all played in the right-back position this term, and Neill knows he has his work cut out to keep his place, but he says that competition for places is healthy.

"It's always nice to play and you've just got to keep working in training and wait for your chances,” he said. “When you get the chance to play, you've got to try and put a good workload in.
"It's not up to me to decide whether I did enough to be selected for the next game. I hope I've put something in the manager's mind to keep getting picked.
"It is a friendly rivalry and it's kind of good for the manager because he gets to have the choice of having various players to play in the positions.
"Unfortunately, he doesn't have Johnny (Heitinga) and me available for Europe, but hopefully that is something that will come in January and we'll be knocking on the door for places in Europe and in the league."

Starting 11 for hull. TH in Goal 3 CBs JY, SD and JH 2 Wing Backs LB and LN you then have 3 CM TC JR and DG with Yak and Saha up front. Gives us a chance to change the formation in the game without using a sub.

I think Neill could be one of our best signings this season. The boy is solid and doesnt mind getting rough with the bigger players. I agree with paddy, as soon as we get Jagielka back in the squad, our defence will be something to be reckoned with
