Mustafi Deal Completed
Everton have completed the signing of talented German teenager Shkodran Mustafi.
The 17-year-old agreed the move from Hamburg in May and the formalities have now been completed.
He has signed a three-year deal with the Toffees and travelled with the squad to Scotland for the pre-season training camp.
"It's a very nice feeling," Mustafi told evertonTV in his first interview since joining the Club. "It's one of my dreams to play for a Premier League club and that dream has come true for me.
"I had three good years at Hamburg but now this is a new chapter. It was a hard decision to leave home but it's another country, another language and I'm looking forward to it.
"I hope I have a good start and I can learn to improve on my weaknesses. Then I hope I can move through the reserves into the first team and get a chance to prove myself. I feel like I will get that chance here."
The Toffees will pay no transfer fee for the Germany Under-17 international, but FIFA training compensation will be applicable.
Mustafi, a centre-half of Albanian descent, is expected to link up with Andy Holden's reserve squad once pre-season is completed.
