David Moyes is not leaving Everton.
The manager has declared that will stay with the Toffees and continue to oversee their progression.
He also reiterated that he is close to signing a new contract with the Blues.
“I am not going anywhere,” said Moyes.
“I am here and intend to see the job through. We have great expectations and I hope that I am able to fulfil them.
“I hope that maybe we can try and get together in the next week or two and sort something out.
“At the moment my energies are focused on bringing in new players. We have a certain amount of money to improve what we have got here.”
Moyes confirmed his intention to bolster his squad, and echoed the sentiments of chairman Bill Kenwright by pointing out that signings won't be made for signing's sake.
“I will not bring in just for the sake of it,” said Moyes.
“We need to bring in three or four main players that are going to cost big money and my standards are that high that I’m not going to bring them down.
“We need to bring in better players now to try and help the squad. But we don’t have bundles of cash.”

never doubted that david would leave, its not in his nature, if we can get the players in that we need what a boost that would be, look how well we did last season and the squad we had, injuries and suspensions meant we had 1 of the smallest squads in prem, with the players that david wants we could end higher, red noses will be looking over their shoulders and sweating if we have stronger squad. come on david the look on your face when we done red noses was a picture, lets see if we can do it again.
