Moyes: Deals In Unlikely
Blues boss says that the returning injured players will boost squad.
David Moyes admits he is unlikely to do any further business during the January transfer window despite maintaining an interest in a number of targets.
The Goodison chief has completed loan deals for Landon Donovan and Philippe Senderos this month – whilst Jo and Lucas Neill have departed.
The manager is satisfied with the business he has carried out and he believes the return to fitness of a number of long-term absentees has eased the necessity to boost squad numbers.
"I don't think I'll be busy," Moyes told evertonTV. "But I've got one or two things I can do if I need to. I have one or two loans signings that I could bring in if I want to.
"I want to try and make sure that if we do bring anyone in, it's the right one and it's of value for us. I don't just want to bring somebody in to add to the numbers - because that's not what I think we need.
"Numbers are improving with injured players coming back. And if I was going to bring somebody in, I would like it to be somebody of quality who could add something to the team."
