Message To Shareholders
Information regarding the company's Annual General Meeting.
Dear Shareholder,
You may be aware that under the terms of the Companies Act 2006 it is no longer a requirement for a private limited company to hold an Annual General Meeting.
Nevertheless, as we have always demonstrated, it remains important for the Club to hear, consider and understand the views of its Shareholders. On that basis, we would like to invite you to a "Shareholders' Forum" in The Marquee on Wednesday 15 July 2009 commencing at 7.00pm.
The Shareholders' Forum will be attended by members of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Robert Elstone and Manager David Moyes.
To enable us to establish the number of attendees, please could you indicate on the attached slip or by email if you wish to attend. If attending, please bring with you the enclosed Attendance Card together with some form of identification (Driving Licence, Passport etc).
Please note that the Shareholders' Forum is not being convened under the provisions of the Companies Act 2006, it is for Shareholders only and, as there will be no business conducted on which a vote will be required, Proxies will not be admitted.
We shall be pleased if you would kindly respond to this invitation by Friday 10 July 2009, using either the reply slip below or by email to companysecretary@evertonfc.com.
Admission to the Shareholders' Forum will only be allowed to Shareholders who have confirmed their attendance by 10 July 2009.
Yours sincerely
Martin Evans
Company Secretary
