Everton's on-loan striker Jo will return to training on Monday.

The Brazilian had been suspended by the Club after he returned to his homeland without permission from manager David Moyes.

Jo, who is currently on a season long loan deal from Manchester City, left the UK over Christmas.

The 22-year-old won't feature at Arsenal this weekend but will be back at Finch Farm next week.

Moyes also revealed that the player had been fined for his conduct and the manager is now keen for a line to be drawn under the episode.

"Brazilian Jo will back at the Club next week following his suspension,” revealed Moyes at his pre match press briefing.

"He has been fined heavily and he knows the situation.  We will look at it more next week.

"I don't think it is a big discussion point.  We have dealt with it and should now move on."

Jos Rowlandi really hope we wash our hands with jo hes simply not good enough and cannot give 100 percent week in week out and would love to see less loan signings and more buys however as usual were not linked with anyone

daniel byrneDonovan WILL give Jo a reason to work harder for a starting position. Donovan has a tremendous work-rate, slashing runs & spot-on passes. Internationally he’s been an assist machine and might help Saha become the EPL top scorer.

Liam KearyYou're an Everton player, so as Everton fans we will support you if you play. You won't recieve boo's that's not the Everton way we're not Villa. We don't know the circumstances of why you went AWOL and we don't need to know. You know how to fix this, head down, work hard and believe in yourself. Confidence is everything and it's earned not given, so go earn it.

david hodgsoncity are paying his wages so why not keep him on for free I would actually like to see him play with donovan or vaughan in a 4 4 2. As a lone striker he has really struggled holding the long ball we have been tending to play to him

DAVE HUNTEROk Jo hasn't set the world on fire, but our shortage of strikers mean we can't afford to lose him (just yet) Hopefully Donavan can come in and show a bit of passion

Steven StocksWith Vaunghy back it will be hard for him to get in to squad, he hasn't proved him self a decent striker, am sure the lad has talent, just no confidence. this month is a test for Everton and we need our strikers banging them in, i don't think Jo fits that category.

david collinsWhen I saw the headline I thought he was returning to City, which is what I had expected - he will have to work hard to please the fans. Wonder if Moyes could get O'Hara in from Tottenham on loan, he plays his last game for portsmouth this weekend.

Frank CarrollIn Moyes we trust-but something tells me the crowd wont take too well to him now- he seems such a likable chap really- but it does not seem to go for him-after a good start for us-he should never have done what he did-but whats done is done-lets hope the word in his shell like and a second chance will bring more out of him-otherwise the M62 beckons !
