IT'S FIORENTINA!
Everton will play Fiorentina in the last 16 of the Uefa Cup.
The Italian outfit recorded a 2-1 win over Rosenborg in their last 32 second leg tie.
That scoreline meant the Viola progressed 3-1 on aggregate.
Everton will travel to Florence for the first leg, which takes place on March 6.
The return leg at Goodison is scheduled seven days later.
Fabio Liverani and Daniele Cacia scored Fiorentina's goals at the Artemio Franchi stadium.

Kieran Mcloughlinbring them on. the team who finished fourth last season in the premier league absolutely destroyed the itaslian champions, also champions elect this season. i think we will beat them comfortably at goodison. We will also score against them on their soil we are going to run them ragged you watch. COYBB

Morelli Alessandroi hope it will be 2 great matches between 2 very good teams, I think both teams are hoping in the future to play champions league at some point , but uefa cup is a very appealing trophy anyway, I also hope since I am florentine that VIOLA will advance to the next stage. I hope that the fans of both teams will get along, i am sick of tired to see all of this violence around this beautiful game of football...it is just a game so it is great to be passionate about it, but at the end of the match whatever the result was, lets remain calm...go VIOLA

Mark ReidI totally disagree with Morelli Alessandro. The good English teams are more than a match for the good Italian teams. Everton are infact like an Italian team... organised, tough to break down.... The difference between 2005 and now is the likes of Pienaar.... Everton have a lot more mobility and flexibility in the side to play in different ways, both long balls(direct) and a passing-style through Mikel-Pienaar-Manny etc. I am confident we can do an ITALIAN JOB if we keep focused.

Morelli Alessandroboy...this is a tough one for our team to win against the italians, this is a very skilled and organized team, we will need to play our best football but i am a little bit pessimistic ..I hope our boys will beat the italians but lets be honest, italian teams and Italians are much better than us to play the game , but lets cross the fingers , maybe with some help from the referee we could advance...anyway lets go Everton! you 'll never walk alone!

Peter HumphreysRight at the beginning, I thought this would make a great Final! Have always liked Fiorentina because they have kept going through all the ups and downs. Would like to have seen the Viola knock out a few of the other teams first. Pity they won't progress any further! Toffees to win 2-1 on aggregate!
