Goodison Preparations

Work is well underway at Goodison Park ahead of the new season.

Almost as soon as the 2008/09 campaign had ended, the pitch was dug up and re-seeded, with plenty of growth now evident.

There's also decorating work going on with some areas of the ground given a new lick of paint.

The banners on the exteriors of the Main Stand and the Park End stand will also be replaced before the curtain raiser against Arsenal on 15 August.

As many people will be aware these banners feature images of Evertonians and do include some images of our fans who are sadly no longer with us.

The Club is happy to donate these banners to those fans (or, in the case of deceased supporters, their families) who feature and anyone interested in making a claim for a piece of Goodison history should contact Head of PR, Ian Ross on 0151 530 5223 or email ian.ross@evertonfc.com
