Fellaini Misses Derbies
Marouane Fellaini will miss both of the upcoming games with Liverpool.
The Belgian was cautioned in the second half of Everton's game against Hull City on Saturday.
Referee Martin Atkinson was an unpopular figure at Goodison as he showed Fellaini the yellow card just after the break, seemingly indicating a series of offences.
He will now miss the league game at Anfield on January 19 and the FA Cup fourth round game six days later.
Fellaini had already scored Everton's first goal in the game with a header after 18 minutes.

Wayne InstoneFellaini needs to get his hair cut, he atsnds out like a sore thunmb. So much so that everything he does sticks in the mind of the official. If he looked like the rest he may get treated like the rest and some things overlooked.

ALAN JONESIt might be a blessing in disguise because the poor lad has been the target of referees. He probably would be sent off in the first half of the league game against the reds by another ref misreading a fair challenge. Bring on Castllo.

Jamie McLeodShame fellaini is missing out but im sure whoever is brought in will fill the gap. feel we need astriker thats not injury prone. dont understand why we dont try and sign kris boyd from rangers for 3 million and at 20,000 a week is nothing and hes always garentees goals thats who i would be looking at is i was moyes dont think bent or jo would be good signings from their form this season but moyes can work his magic but just wait and see what happens COYB

Robert ByattTo be honest I think Fellani was lucky to still be on the field after his elbowing at the corner. But anyway we are still EFC and if we do not need strikers i am sure we can fill in for Screech?

Andrew BurkeI first thought Moyes was wrong for letting Felli play in the second half. Bu reading his comments on this site, i have to agree with him about the importance of ensuring the three points. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I guess thats why its the Shrewd Scott managing Everton and not me.

john colemanMarouane i think played better after he was booked, it may be a blow that he misses the games with the rednoses but i would rather have him back for the arsenal and united games because the way we are playing now we will bet the reds anyway.

John EvansMoyes has to take the rap. He should of took Fellaini off at half time. Myself and 35 thousand other Evertonians thought so, why not him. So angry. Dont give us hope without Fellie if am honest.
Saturday 10th January 20:13 Report CommentPaul WattersonGutted that he will miss both Derbies. Hull were trying to kick us off the park throughout. He went for a legitimate ball and the Hull player bent down to head it. Similar incident later in reverse and no card for Hull!

Mark ReidThis booking should be appealed. A nonsense decision of a booking. I doubt any blue would know what planet the ref and the linesmen were on - but the appeals board should look at use of arms/elbows on both Fellaini and Cahill persistently during the game.

Colin Hafezeverybody in the ground (except Mr.Moyes) knew that Fallini had a final warning just before the interval, One of our aces to upset Liverpool, will no miss both games!!! Moyes may be a great motivator, but his use of subs is woeful, as it is we will now probably start with Ammo up front!
