Everton will face Carlisle at home in the third round of the FA Cup.
The Toffees were handed the Goodison Park tie in Sunday afternoon's draw, which took place at Wembley.
And Everton have an unblemished cup record against the Cumbrians, but the two sides haven't faced off since the 1976/76 season, when the Blues won 2-0 in the League Cup.
Previously, Carlisle, also nicknamed the Blues, had recorded two league wins over Everton in 1974/75 and suffered two defeats in the FA Cup - in 1967/68 and 1929/30.
Former Everton centre half Derek Mountfield provides a link between the teams, having played for the now-League One outfit in the mid-nineties.
Managed by Greg Abbott, they are currently 17th in League One.
Speaking straight after Everton's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool, Steven Pienaar told evertonTV: "I think it's a good draw for us but at the moment we are thinking about the next game and that is AEK."
Third round ties take place on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of January - for confirmed fixture details, keep checking evertonfc.com.
