Everton One Opens!

The new Everton One store is now open!

Everton One Opens!

The new Everton One store was opened by Phil Jagielka on Saturday morning.

Everton's player of the year was greeted by hundreds of excited Evertonians, some queueing from 5am to get a glimpse of the retail outlet which has been revamped by retail giants Kitbag.

Jagielka, flanked by Blues heroes Graeme Sharp, Kevin Sheedy, Derek Mountfield and Ian Snodin, cut the ribbon at the entrance of the shop.

"The shop looks great," Jags told evertonTV. "It shows that the Club is making steps forward on and off the field.

"It's fantastic to see so many fans here as well, and hopefully now we will go on to have a good season."

The most popular purchase on opening day was, not surprisingly the new home kit.

"It certainly brings back a few memories!" said Mountfield. "The happy days of the 1980s are never far from your mind but this certainly brought them back into focus."

On Friday evening, a cutting-edge fashion show featured the 2009/10 range of products, with VIP guests then afforded a sneak preview of the store.

“The fashion show was exciting. We wanted it to be fun, modern, light-hearted and fashionable, and it was,” said Kitbag’s managing director Ray Evans.

“Nobody can quite believe it’s the same shop. We would have had come in for the refurb six weeks ago, but as Everton reached the FA Cup final, we were unable to do that.

“We’ve managed to complete it in 26 days, which is incredible. Everyone said we couldn’t do it, but we have."

John HauIt's great we are doing better in sale, let's hope we could generate more funds for Moyes to buy the player we need.
