EVERTON APPOINT AMPERSAND
Everton have announced a deal with Ampersand to provide design, marketing and multi-media services to the Club.
Ampersand, a Liverpool based design, marketing and PR agency along with their multi-media partner Mocha have been appointed to assist with the search for a naming rights partner for the proposed new stadium in Kirkby.
Following a national tender process, Ampersand and Mocha, were one-of-three agencies that were short-listed to present to a panel from Everton and AEG Worldwide.
Ampersand and Mocha were informed of their success the same day the pitch took place.
"This is a huge win for Ampersand and Mocha and for Liverpool's creative and media community," said Robert Elstone, Deputy Chief Executive at Everton
"The contract could have been won by an agency outside of Liverpool, but was awarded to a local company, which is recognition that the city's creative pool of talent is booming during its capital of culture year."
Emma Blackmore, Managing Director at Ampersand added: "It was a surreal moment taking the call from Everton.
"Everton and AEG have given us a great opportunity and we look forward to working with both companies on this exciting project that could see our designs and marketing collateral being used across the globe, an opportunity that is few and far between."
