Duo A Doubt For Burnley
David Moyes faces an anxious wait over the fitness of Jack Rodwell and Steven Pienaar for Sunday's trip to Burnley.
The midfield duo were both withdrawn from the action in Thursday's night emphatic 4-0 victory over Sigma in the Europa League after picking up knocks.
The manager admitted afterwards that, with just a few days before the trip to Turf Moor in the Barclays Premier League, the duo are a doubt to figure in the game.
He told evertonfc.com: "Jack and Steven both came off with injuries and at this present time are a doubt for the weekend. Jack has a twisted knee and Steven got a kick on his foot."
Both players played an integral part in the victory over the Czech Republic side at Goodison.
Rodwell netted the second and third goals of his Everton career - both of which were spectacular efforts from distance - while Pienaar underlined his importance to the side as an attacking force with an increasingly influential display down the left flank in conjunction with Leighton Baines.
Everton face Burnley on Sunday in a game that kicks-off at 3pm.

Cathy Condron"Jack-the-young-lad" had a great game tonight and he must have been delighted that the crowd were chanting his name! Well done Jack and how great it is to see a young man having a shot on goal, something of a rarity at Goodison these days with injurys to certain players. Well done to you and the rest of the team who dug deep, eventually, and got the result we needed to get us back on track. Hope you and Stevie P will be fit for Sunday....get the cotton wool out Everton and make sure they are both wrapped up till Sunday. C O U B!

brennan finneganWell done Everton on a convincing win especially Tim for that world class save, Rod for his goals, the second looked like a goal of the season and Saha for showing he still is a class striker. We're on the march again. COYBs
