DE SILVA COMPLETES DEAL

Anderson de Silva has put pen to paper on his six month deal at Everton.

The Brazilian midfielder agreed the deal before Christmas, having resolved ongoing passport issues that had prevented him from joining the club at the start of the 2005/6 season.

de Silva, who has been given squad number 38, finalised his deal following the opening of the transfer window on January 1.

He has been training at Bellefield and is eligible for first team football, though manager David Moyes has already stated that the player will have to prove himself on the training ground and for the reserves.
