CROWDS AT GOODISON

CROWDS AT GOODISON

Fans have been queueing in their droves at Goodison today to ensure they secure their match ticket for this weekend's Premiership clash with Manchester United.

The tickets for the game went on general sale this morning, leading to queues at the Goodison Box Office.

The match is Everton's penultimate at home this term. Saturday's 1-0 defeat at West Ham - the first in eight matches for the Blues - means there are now just four points separating the five clubs battling to secure one of the three UEFA Cup spots.

Although David Moyes' men are currently in pole position in fifth place ahead of Bolton on goal difference, the next two home games could be crucial in determining Everton's final position.

And the support of the Goodison faithful will be crucial for the Blues, who are now just seven points short of the total that secured Champions League qualification in 2005.
