FA Youth Cup victors to face Manchester City in quarter finals.

Everton Under-18s will face either Manchester City in the FA Youth Cup quarter finals - should they beat Norwich City at the Halton Stadium on Thursday.

The reigning Youth Cup champions booked their place in the last eight with a comfortable 4-2 victory over Newcastle United on Wednesday, goals from Greg Cunningham, Robert Mak (2) and Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni ensuring their progress.

Arsenal and Bolton are the only other teams assured of a quarter final place following victories over Sunderland and Nottingham Forest respectively.

Everton have won the FA Youth Cup on three occasions, most recently in 1998.
