Blues & Chang Are Tops
Our partnership with Chang has been voted the best in the North West!
Everton's partnership with Chang has been voted the best in the North West!
The Club was awarded the prestigious Best Club Sponsorship at the North West Football Awards event in Manchester on Monday evening.
Manager David Moyes and Club Director Jon Woods were both in attendance as well as acting chief executive Robert Elstone who joined the Blues' commercial team in accepting the award.
Elstone said: "A lot of hard work has gone into delivering value to the sponsor.
"It takes two to make a successful partnership and Chang have been very loyal to Everton."
"I am absolutely delighted that we've won this award," added Peter Trembling, Everton's head of Commercial.
"This is a major achievement for Everton and is a reward for four years of hard work done by both the Club and Chang. This is great for everyone because it is indicative of the fact that our partnership has proven to be a big success.
"This award will take us to the next stage and it shows that we can compete with the best of the rest on the commercial field of play."
The award comes less than 12 months after Chang extended their shirt sponsorship deal at Goodison and the new agreement has seen Everton develop football both on and off the pitch in Thailand with a series of pioneering initiatives.
The awards were judged by an esteemed panel, which included PFA Chief Executive Gordon Taylor, Manchester United Director Maurice Watkins and football economics expert Professor Tom Cannon.
