Jose Baxter is enjoying rubbing shoulders with the senior Everton squad.
Baxter was in Switzerland at Everton's pre-season training camp earlier this summer and has featured in the games against Sion, Cambridge and Preston - where he caught the eye.
The 16-year-old revealed that just being around the Toffees' first team players was hugely beneficial.
"It's been a great experience," Baxter told evertonTV. "When you are around the senior players you look at them on and off the pitch and you want to do what they do.
"I've just got to stick at it, I just want to stick around the first team and try and be involved as much as possible."

There's plenty going on at the moment for Baxter, who only left school this year. He's got England duty later this month and is also getting used to a new position on the field.
He added: "I've represented England under 16s and I've been picked for the under 17 Nordic tournament later this month.
"It's great when I join up with them and play with the best players from other clubs.
"My preferred position is attacking midfield, but I used to be a striker."

I saw the game last night son and thought you played really well. Just keep plugging away there and give it your all. Best of luck.
