Last season in the league, Everton won 1-0 at White Hart Lane when Steven Pienaar's shot was deflected in by Vedran Corluka for what was later credited as an own goal. At Goodison in May the teams played out a goalless draw.

The most recent encounter was in the Carling Cup in October in London, Tottenham winning 2-0 with goals from Tom Huddlestone and Robbie Keane.

Spurs have won three and drawn two of the last five league meetings at Goodison Park, since their last defeat in April 2004, conceding just one goal in that time.

Redknapp has won five of his 28 meetings against Everton in all competitions as a manager. His first trip to Goodison with Bournemouth in September 1985 saw the visitors' Colin Clarke net after just 11 seconds - the fastest goal on the ground in a first-team match.

The Goals

There has been a total of 12 hat-tricks in matches between the sides, the most recent for Everton being Tony Cottee at Goodison in October 1991.

Totenham's most recent treble - Robbie Keane at White Hart Lane in January 2003 - is the only hat-trick against Everton in the David Moyes' era.

The only hat-trick for the London club at Goodison was the four goals scored by Eugene O'Callaghan in February 1928.

Yakubu - signed by Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth - has three career goals against Spurs with Yobo, Baines, Distin and Cahill scoring once against the north London side.

Tottenham's Robbie Keane has scored more Premier League goals against Everton under David Moyes than any other player: the Irish international has bagged six goals against the Toffees in that time. Keane's seven in total against Everton under Moyes in all competitions is the joint-highest with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

The Players

There have been a total of six players - two for Everton and four for Spurs - sent-off in matches between the sides. Kevin Kilbane in a 2-0 win at Spurs in August 2006 is Everton's last red card.

Stephen Carr at Goodison in April 2004 is the most recent Spurs' dismissal.

It will be Lucas Neill's 500th appearance in English football should the Australian play on Sunday. Countryman Tim Cahill celebrates his 30th birthday that day.

Louis Saha has made 99 career appearances in English football as a substitute.

Any Other Business

There have been four goalless draws against Tottenham in the Premier League at Goodison, which is the most against one team on the ground. If there is a further goalless game on Sunday then, for only the second time, three successive league matches against the same opponent at Goodison will have ended goalless, following a trio against Liverpool from 1974/75 - 1976/77.
