Carling Cup Draw

The Carling Cup third round draw takes place on Saturday lunchtime.

Everton face and away clash with Hull City in the third round of the Carling Cup. 

The draw took place on Saturday lunchtime and paired the Toffees with the Tigers for the clash at the KC Stadium.

The Blues will be looking to improve on last year's Carling Cup run when they were halted at the first hurdle by Blackburn.

But the previous season David Moyes guided his charges to the semi-finals where they lost narrowly to Chelsea.

Hull were Premier League newcomers last season and drew 2-2 with Everton in the league game on Humberside. The Blues won 2-0 in the return at Goodison Park with Mikel Arteta contributing a goal of the season contender.

The third round game will be played during the week beginning 21 September.
