ROONEY TO RETURN?

A round-up of Man Utd's injury problems ahead of the weekend game.

ROONEY TO RETURN?

With Man Utd visiting Goodison on Saturday, evertonfc.com takes a look at the visitors' injury situation.

United have been missing some high profile players of late.

Wayne Rooney has been missing since August when he fractured his foot against Reading.

But recent speculation in the media has suggested that the former Everton player could be in line for a return this Saturday.

Owen Hargreaves missed England's win over Israel and won't feature against Russia either.

He has a thigh problem but isn't ruled out of the Goodison clash.

And Louis Saha made a scoring return in United's last league game - the striker scoring off the bench in the 1-0 win over Sunderland.

But Gary Neville and Park Ji-Sung are still out with groin and knee problems respectively.

"Because I've been out for such a long time I think the Everton game is going to be too soon, I think it will probably be after that," said Neville.

And Park added: "Hopefully I'll be playing again early in the New Year. My knee is getting better and it's a case of so far, so good."

United have players in international action this week and will be hoping they come through their respective games unscathed.
