What The Papers Say - 24 July

Everton's trip to Thailand is the main topic of discussion in Thursday's Liverpool Echo.

The local paper carries Roberto Martinez's confirmation that Seamus Coleman will miss the mini-tour to Bangkok as a precaution, but Ross Barkley will travel for Sunday's game against Leicester City.

The Blues boss also tells the Echo he knows who his summer transfer targets are and is working on the deals required.

In the same piece, Martinez lays down the challenge to the current crop of Academy graduates in and around the first-team to take the opportunity to impress in the upcoming friendlies.

In the nationals, the Daily Mirror claim the Blues will make Bosnia World Cup star Muhamed Besic their next signing.

The Times also report on a move for Besic, with the added mention of David Henen - the 18-year-old Anderlecht forward who Martinez confirmed an interest in earlier this week.

Ryan JohnsonI think Nigal De jong and El shaarawy would be perfect signings to bring into the club . Everton should really look at these top class players.
