Saturday's Daily Mail claims Everton remain hopeful of landing striker Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea and are in talks over another loan for 6ft 8ins Monaco hitman Lacina Traore.
The same two players are linked in the Liverpool Echo, with Blues boss Roberto Martinez telling the paper he is willing to be patient in his bid to re-sign the pair.
Also in the Echo, Martinez discusses his eagerness to give another batch of Everton youngsters their chance in the coming season.
The Toffees chief is adamant there is even more talent coming through at Goodison Park to follow in the footsteps of Ross Barkley, John Stones and Luke Garbutt.
Martinez also describes Tuesday's signing of Gareth Barry as a 'vital' first step in his summer recruitment mission.
And, according to the Daily Mirror, former Blue Jack Rodwell could be another of the names on the Club's radar - though the 23-year-old is thought to be wanted by up to nine Premier League sides, as well as Inter Milan, Valencia and Villarreal.
