Tuesday’s Daily Star continues to link Jack Rodwell with a return to Goodison Park.
The paper claims Roberto Martinez remains a ‘keen admirer’ of the midfielder and he will make a move for the England international who has played just 26 games for Manchester City in two years.
The Daily Express, meanwhile, says Everton are set to sign 18-year-old Shelbourne defender Ryan Robinson. This story is also covered in the Liverpool Echo.
In the Daily Mail, it is claimed the Blues want to bring Lacina Traore back to the Club on another loan deal.
However, the Echo report that Gerard Deulofeu will not be returning for a second spell on Merseyside.

The Times describes the left-back’s performance as ‘lively’, while the Daily Express contains quotes from coach Gareth Southgate who says that the level of the team performance in the 3-1 victory shows ‘the depth we now have’ at that level.
