There’s plenty of transfer talk in Friday’s newspapers, with several names linked with moves to Goodison Park.

The Daily Mirror claims that Roberto Martinez is set to make ‘big money’ moves for Tottenham’s Andros Townsend and Swansea’s Wilfried Bony.

The Daily Mail, meanwhile, says Everton – along with Newcastle, Cardiff and Arsenal – are monitoring West Bromwich Albion frontman Saido Beharino.

Elsewhere, the Daily Telegraph reports on the news that Apostolos Vellios is leaving Everton following the expiration of his contract, while another national suggests that Everton want to recruit Lacina Traore on a second loan spell.

Injury restricted the Ivory Coast striker to just two appearances during his half-season stay at Goodison in 2013/14.

In the Liverpool Echo, Blues boss Martinez says he will turn to the Spanish market in a bid to add further exciting loan stars to his squad this summer. Atletico Madrid’s teenage midfielder Saul Niguez is a player that is ‘on the radar’, according to the paper.

The Echo also covers the story that the Blues have entered discussions with Tony Hibbert over extending the right-back’s career at Goodison.
