Everton’s plans to explore sites for a new stadium feature prominently in Wednesday’s newspapers.

The Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, Daily Telegraph and Liverpool Echo all feature quotes from CEO Robert Elstone who was discussing the proposals at the Club’s General Meeting.

Roberto Martinez was also present at last night’s event where he reiterated that decisions on which players join or leave Everton this summer will be made for ‘footballing reasons’. This story is featured on the back page of the Echo.

Elsewhere, the Daily Star reports that England boss Roy Hodgson has been handed a World Cup boost with the news that Phil Jagielka is set to return from injury in Everton’s clash with Manchester City this weekend.

Romelu Lukaku’s future is also mentioned in the Star, with the Belgian saying he 'will see what happens next’ in regards to where he plays his football next season.
