There is a range if transfer speculation and contract talk in Sunday's papers - as well as match reports from Saturday's defeat at Southampton.
The Liverpool Echo quotes Roberto Martinez describing Leon Osman's yellow card as ‘cheap', with the Blues boss insisting a penalty would have been the correct decision.
The Daily Star claims Chelsea are ready to make a £20m bid for John Stones. The same paper also says Joe Royle believes this summer's World Cup has come too soon for Ross Barkley.
In the Sunday People, it is claimed that Everton will offer a ‘bumper new deal' to stave off reported interest in the defender from Arsenal. They also say Sane Duffy is wanted by Premier League newcomers Burnley. The People adds that Martinez will have a ‘£20m-plus kitty' this summer.
Royle is back again as well, this time saying Gareth Barry should be part of Roy Hodgson's 23-man squad for Brazil.
Meanwhile, the Sunday Telegraph names Barry and fellow midfielder James McCarthy as two unsung heroes who would be worthy of the ‘alternative player of the year awards'.
