Everton boss Roberto Martinez has told Wednesday's Liverpool Echo he is looking to open discussions with striker Lacina Traore about extending his stay at Goodison Park.
A hamstring injury has meant Traore has played just one game since joining the Blues on loan from Monaco in January, though Martinez would like to keep the Ivorian on Merseyside, with the paper believing another loan deal to be the most likely option.
Meanwhile, the same paper claim the Blues could make a summer move for Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley and reflect on the news that former manager Joe Royle is in discussions about taking up a new role at the Club.
The Daily Star, Daily Mail and Daily Express are among the raft of national newspapers to report yesterday's news that winger Kevin Mirallas is set to miss the final three games of the season, while one tabloid links the Toffees with Southampton's Jack Cork. The £3million-rated midfielder is also reported to be a target of Swansea City and Fulham.
