Saturday’s papers preview the afternoon meeting against Swansea City at Goodison Park.

The Toffees are searching for their eighth straight home victory and Roberto Martinez, speaking in The Daily Mail and The Guardian, insists the Blues are ready to pounce if any of the top four clubs falter during the run-in.

The Blues boss has told the Liverpool Echo that he will do everything in his power to make sure Everton emerge from the upcoming summer transfer window with a stronger squad.

Seamus Coleman scored the winner a week ago against Cardiff and he has been interviewed about his excellent season in today’s Daily Express.

And in the same paper, Swansea boss Garry Monk speaks about his friendship with his counterpart this afternoon, Martinez, who handed the 35-year-old the captaincy at the Liberty Stadium several years ago.
