Roberto Martinez features prominently in Saturday’s newspapers.
Speaking in the Liverpool Echo, the Blues boss says Everton are motivated to finish the season as strongly as possible now that they can focus all their attention on the Premier League.
Thirty-three points are still up for grabs and Martinez is adamant that with no other distractions, the Toffees can build on their current tally of 48.
In the Daily Star, Martinez says that if Everton do not qualify for Europe next season there won’t be an exodus at Goodison Park.
Also in the Star, Cardiff boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been speaking about his friendship with Martinez.
The pair moved across to England around the same time in the mid-1990s and the Norwegian recalls how they, along with Jordi Cruyff, used to play the computer game Championship Manager together.
