Tuesday's newspapers speculate that Everton will make a summer move to bring midfielder Jack Rodwell back to the Club.
The Guardian, Daily Telegraph and Daily Express are all among the papers to suggest Blues boss Roberto Martinez is keen to give the England international a chance to revive his career following a difficult two-year spell at Manchester City.
They also suggest Everton failed in a deadline-day bid to secure Rodwell on loan in January.
Elsewhere, in the Daily Star, Leighton Baines insists the Toffees will not abandon their forward-thinking approach despite Saturday's FA Cup exit at Arsenal.
The cup defeat is also a topic of conversation for Martinez in the Liverpool Echo, a paper which quotes the Spaniard as saying he will never stop putting faith in youth.
In the same paper, Aiden McGeady talks about how his career is moving forward again since his switch to Everton, while they also report the news that midfielder John Lundstram has been recalled from his loan spell at Yeovil Town.
