Rom Seeks Cutting Edge
Lukaku wants Blues to put Cardiff and Swansea to the sword.
Defiant Romelu Lukaku wants Everton to rediscover their cutting edge and slice through the defences of both Cardiff and Swansea.
The Blues face a home double-header against the Welsh duo in the coming fortnight and are out to put the disappointment of Saturday's FA Cup defeat at Arsenal behind them.
Lukaku, recently back in the side following an ankle injury, remains adamant Everton are on course for European qualification this term but believes it's important they bounce back with successive Goodison Park wins.
The Belgian said: "Getting into Europe is still the aim but we have to start winning games. We have a good schedule ahead at this moment and we have to make the best of it. We want to go on a good run now.
"We create enough chances to win every game but we have to be clinical."
Following the Cardiff and Swansea fixtures, Everton will travel to Newcastle United and Fulham, before home games against European qualification rivals Arsenal and Manchester United in April.
Sunderland, Southampton and Hull City are all still to be visited ahead of the season's end, while Manchester City and Crystal Palace will also travel to the blue half of Merseyside.
And Lukaku, who notched his 11th goal of the campaign at Emirates Stadium, added: "We have a lot of games left at home, but the away games against teams fighting relegation are going to be tough and we'll have to win those too. Like I said, we have to be clinical everywhere we play.
"I'm happy to score for the second game in a row but I want to keep going now to help my teammates and help us win games."
