Deulofeu's Spain Defeat Germany
Winger plays 45 minutes for his country's Under-21s.
Gerard Deulofeu played 45 minutes as Spain Under-21s recorded a 2-0 friendly win over Germany on Tuesday.
The winger was introduced at the break and helped his side to victory, with early second-half strikes from Real Madrid pair Alvaro Morata and Isco proving enough for La Rojita to see off their visitors.
The Spanish dominated possession for much of the contest at Estadio Nueva Balastera but it took a raft of half-time substitutions - including the introduction of Deulofeu - for the hosts to find a way past a stubborn German back line.
They did so through Morata six minutes after the interval, before man of the match Isco, Real's €30 million summer signing, sealed the win two minutes later.
Deulofeu will now return to Merseyside to begin his preparations for Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final at Arsenal.
